(UNDATED) – Authorities are investigating several break ins to vehicles and vehicle thefts that happened over the weekend.
Branch County Undersheriff Keith Eichler says the crimes took place Saturday night and Sunday morning in Bronson, Sherwood and Matteson Townships. There were five reports of vehicles being stolen and multiple break ins.
Eichler says in addition to investigating these incidents, deputies are also following up on leads from the St. Joseph and Calhoun County Sheriff's Departments. He says Michigan State Police from the Marshall Post are also looking into similar incidents of vehicle break ins and stolen automobiles.
If anyone has information on these Branch County incidents, they are asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 517-278-2325.
