(SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP) – A Cassopolis woman was injured in a Friday afternoon crash in Cass County's Silver Creek Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke says 55 year old Deborah Ganser was driving on M-152 near North Street at 2:10 PM, and lost control in a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and struck several small trees.
Ganser was injured in the crash and was taken to an area hospital by Pride Care Ambulance. Behnke says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Deputies were assisted by the Sister Lakes Fire Department and the Michigan State Police. The crash remains under investigation.
