(COLDWATER) – One person was injured in a two vehicle collision.

The Coldwater Police Department says at 4:43 PM Tuesday, a Coldwater woman was driving a Chevy Trailblazer on West Garfield Avenue, and failed to yield as she turned north onto South Clay Street, striking a westbound motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, also a Coldwater resident, sustained serious leg injuries and was initially treated at the scene before being transported to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

The Coldwater Fire Department, Branch County Sheriff's Department and Life Care Ambulance assisted at the scene.
