(STURGIS) – If you have ever wanted to see professional bowlers up close, this is your weekend.
Several regional professional bowlers will be at Sturgis Bowl starting tonight and on through Sunday for a special tournament. Sturgis Bowl owner Bill Burke says tonight will be a pro-am. Local residents will be bowling with the professionals, and a getting a chance to meet them up close. Burke says the pros will be bowling with you, and not against you.
If you want to bowl in tonight's pro-am, you can either call Sturgis Bowl at 269-651-1476 to sign up, or show up by 6 PM this evening.
Saturday starts the tournament for the professionals. Burke says starting at 12 PM, the pros will bowl eight games with the top one-third moving on to Sunday.
At 10 AM on Sunday, the pros will bowl five more games with the top eight moving on to the round robin round to name the champion.
The public is welcome to come out all weekend to watch. There is no admission charge to the public.
