(EDWARDSBURG) – After being down 26-3 at the end of the first quarter, the Sturgis boys basketball team stormed back, but their rally fell short as they lost to host Edwardsburg 56-51 in a Wolverine Conference South Division match up. Trey Wallick led the Trojans with a game high 23 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Jacob Thompson added 12 points and 3 rebounds while Tyler Lewis had 9 points and 4 rebounds. The Trojans were without Brady Webb and coach Keith Kurowski, who were both suspended for the game. Thomas Kurowski also sat out due to a leg injury. Edwardsburg to 18 points from Max Hafner. Sturgis is now 7-4 overall and 2-2 in the South Division. Edwardsburg improves to 8-4, 3-1 in the division.
