(LAGRANGE) – LaGrange County REMC is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations to help in completing their eco-friendly projects.
The EnviroWatts grant program awards funding to groups working to improve the environment in LaGrange County.
EnviroWatts is made possible by participating co-op members, who pay an additional 1 cent for their first 500 kilowatt-hours each month. Those kilowatt-hours are then generated from renewable, environmentally-preferred sources, and those pennies go directly back into the community through grants for these improvement initiatives.
Completed applications are due into the LaGrange County REMC office at 1995 E US 20, LaGrange, IN 46761 by 4:30 PM on Monday, March 2.
For a full list of details and a copy of the application you can go online. LINKA.
You can also pick up a copy at the co-op office.
