(UNDATED) – Two people are in custody following a breaking and entering and pursuit in St. Joseph County.

Michigan State Police say they were called to a breaking and entering on Lutz Road Monday afternoon, after two men were seen heading into the residence. Troopers arrived and arrested one of the suspects in the house.

The second suspect was able to sneak into a nearby pole barn and drive off in a truck. Officers pursued the truck until it crashed a short time later. The second suspect ran away, but officers were able to find him and take him into custody.

The suspect's names have not been released, pending their arraignment in St. Joseph County District Court.
