Tuesday, March 31, 2020

(COLDWATER) – It looks like Coldwater city buildings will be closed for a little bit longer.

In an announcement on the City of Coldwater web page, officials say following President Donald Trump's extending of the social distancing guidelines until April 30, Coldwater decided to keep their buildings closed until May 1. That includes City Hall, the Public Safety Building and the Browne Recreation Center.

City and Board of Public Utilities office have been closed to the public since March 17, however staff are reporting to work and are available to the public by telephone and e-mail.

The Coldwater Police and Fire Departments closed their lobbies to the public on March 23. Both departments continue to work their shifts 24 hours a day.
