(CENTREVILLE) – Two suspects charged with murder have had their cases bound over to St. Joseph County Circuit Court.
Court officials say Kayla Cheney and Tyler McNeil have had their cases moved on to Circuit Court, following a pre-trial conference in District Court. They will be arraigned at a later date.
A third suspect, Theron Hunt, had his case adjourned until December 18 in District Court.
All three are charged with open murder, three counts of armed robbery and felony firearms. All three are still being held on $4 million bond.
Cheney, McNeil and Hunt were arrested November 16 after an investigation by the Major Crimes Task Force into the shooting death of man at 2:30 AM on November 15 on South Street in Flowerfield Township. The man was driving a semi truck and shot. Police were initially told the man drove off in a stolen car, but police say that didn't happen.
