(CENTREVILLE) – The Glen Oaks Community College Board of Trustees received an update on the concourse renovation during Thursday's meeting.
Glen Oaks President Dr. David Devier says the work is progressing, but running a little behind and over budget, due to some unforeseen issues. Devier says these costs will be funded out of reserves.
The updated window lighting in the upper windows is making a huge difference in the overall atmosphere according to Devier. He also shared that all of the concrete is out of the pit and the end of the main hallway, and work will begin soon on reconstructing the new staircase.
