(PORTER TOWNSHIP) – A Union woman was injured in a two vehicle crash Friday morning in Cass County's Porter Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke says 33 year old Lindsay Sztojka was pulling onto U.S. 12 from Sunset Boulevard at 7:11 AM, and failed to yield the right of way to an east bound pick up driven by 33 year old Nicholas Rink of Union.
The force of the collision was so great, that Sztojka's car split in half.
Sztojka was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Rink was not hurt. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
