(COLDWATER) – A house in Coldwater was damaged in a Saturday afternoon fire.
According to the Coldwater Fire Department, they were called to 19 East Pierce Street at 4 PM Saturday and found flames and heavy smoke coming from the two story residence. A Quincy Fire Department truck was also called in to assist.
Crew cut a hole in the roof to get at the fire, and were eventually were able to extinguish it at 4:50 PM.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No damage estimates were given and no one was injured.
