(STURGIS) – A woman is in the St. Joseph County Jail after an incident in a Sturgis parking lot.
Sturgis Police were called to the 100 block of South Nottawa Road at 10:43 PM Saturday. They found a 37 year old Sturgis woman who was seen acting in a suspicious manner.
Officers identified the woman and found she was trespassing on private property. As the investigation continued, police arrested the woman after learning she was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and also had outstanding warrants.
