(LAGRANGE) – LaGrange County Sheriff Jeff Campos gave an update on lighting to the LaGrange County Council during their meeting this week.
First, Campos told the Council that he is still sorting through some quotes on replacing the lighting in the jail. LINKC.
The plan is to replace all lighting at the jail with LED style lighting.
Campos says he'll also be lobbying for an increase in the daily rate paid for holding prisoners. LINKD.
LaGrange County houses prisoners for the Department of Corrections and for other counties to ease overcrowding at other facilities.
