(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – A one vehicle incident sent a person to the hospital.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says just after 4 AM Sunday, 21 year old Santanta Mosher of Marcellus was driving a pick up south on Cox Road and was going through the curves onto Hoffman Street. While going through the curves, a passenger in the bed of the truck, 28 year old Bryan Parson, fell out.
Parson was treated for his injuries at the scene by the Newberg Ambulance and then transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Also assisting were the Newberg Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
Speed and alcohol were factors in the incident, which remains under investigation.
