Dr. David Devier received high marks during his annual review.

The Glen Oaks Community College Board of Trustees went into executive session during their meeting Thursday morning to do their annual review of Devier.

Once they came back into regular session, Board President Bruce Gosling shared that Devier was rated by the Board of Trustees on a scale of 1 to 5 on 48 specific performance expectations, which were divided among six broad leadership categories. They include fiscal management; external relations; internal relations; leadership; institutional performance; personal qualities and relationships with the Board. Devier received a rating of 4.68.

That is slightly higher than his 2016 review rating of 4.39.

Devier was hired to become Glen Oaks' President in January 2014. He was given a pay increase and will now make $161,925 a year. His contract was also extended to the year 2020.
