(UNDATED) – A pair of drug arrests were made following two separate traffic stops.
Deputies with the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department stopped a vehicle Monday near the intersection of Arthur L. Jones and Corey Lake Roads in Fabius Township, and found the driver had a suspended driver's license.
After getting permission to search the vehicle, deputies found a meth pipe along with paraphernalia for using marijuana. The suspect was also found to be possessing an amount of marijuana.
The driver was arrested for possession of meth and marijuana and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
On Tuesday, deputies conducted another traffic stop in Fabius Township, this time near the intersection of Hoffman and Ruggles Roads. This driver was also driving on a suspended license.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found a plastic pen tube with residue on the inside. The residue tested positive for meth.
The driver was taken into custody for possession of meth and lodged in the St. Joseph County Jail as well.
