(CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP) - Minor injuries were reported in a collision between two vehicles Monday morning.

Michigan State Police from the White Pigeon Detachment were called to U.S. 131 and Riverside Drive in Constantine Township at 7:30 AM. Troopers say a semi driven by a 56 year old Deltona, Florida man was heading north on U.S. 131 when the trailer he was hauling was struck by a St. Joseph County Transit Authority bus that failed to yield at the stop sign on eastbound Riverside Drive.

The bus driver, a 33 year old woman from Fulton, along with all the passengers, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The driver of the bus was issued a citation for disregarding a stop sign.

Assisting at the scene were the Constantine Fire and Rescue, the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department, Life Care Ambulance and Three Rivers Ambulance.
