(VOLINIA TOWNSHIP) – A teen driver was injured in a one vehicle accident.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says a 16 year old female
was driving west on Church Street near Goff Lake at 12:20 Monday afternoon when she lost control of her vehicle. She went off the road, striking several trees and then overturning.
The driver was taken by Pride Care Ambulance to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment. Deputies say seat belts were not used by the teen, and the matter remains under investigation.
Also assisting was the Wayne Township Fire Department.
