(CENTREVILLE) – The Sturgis girls golf team beat visiting Coldwater in their annual Match Play event for the Sauk Cup Trophy. The Lady Trojans won 3.5 to 2.5, winning the last match on the final hole. Mia Moreno secured that point and won her match outright 2 UP over Ashley Drzewicki after falling behind early by 2 holes. Hope Ogg won her match 5 & 4 over Alexis Musselman and Vianey Cardiel defeated Katie Kimble 2 UP. Sturgis' Carli Sanford halved her match with Taylor Musselman, while Madisen Percival was beat by Elloree Madden 3 & 2, while Ella Yunker lost to Anissa Stevens 3 & 2.
