(UNDATED) – Post season honors have been given to some area athletes, as the Michigan Associated Press has announced the 2019-2020 Division 2 All State girls basketball team. First Team honors go out to Three Rivers junior Hadley Miller, who averaged 16.7 points. 8.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.4 steals a game in helping the Lady Wildcats to a 21-3 record on the season. Also named First Team All State, and the Division 2 Player Of The Year was senior Gabrielle Elliott of Detroit Edison. Selected Second Team All State was Maddie Alexander of Harper Creek. All State Honorable Mention goes out to Kali Heivilin of Three Rivers; Alison Bishop of Allegan; Alycia Patterson of Niles; and Claire Bartz of Edwardsburg. The Division 2 Coach Of The Year was Matt Hirschenberger of Freeland.
