(STURGIS) – The Sturgis Athletes of the Year were named during an online version of the Sturgis Senior Sports Banquet. The Female Athlete of the Year was Hope Ogg, who played golf, soccer and basketball for the Lady Trojans during her career. Finishing second was Sage Groves and Gracey Smith was third. The Male Athlete of the Year was Christian Rooyakkers, who participated in football and track. Finishing second was Michael Olarean while coming in third was Derek Garmire.
