No. 13 Indiana women knock off Samford 71-26
(BLOOMINGTON) – Behind 13 points each from junior guard Grace Berger and sophomore forward Mackenzie Holmes, the No. 13 Indiana Hoosiers women's basketball team beat Samford 71-26 and improves to 2-0. After Samford scored the first three points of the second quarter, the Hoosiers used a 18-0 scoring run to go into halftime with a 33-7 lead. The Hoosiers held the Bulldogs to 3-of-29 (10.3 percent) from the field in the first half. Samford did not score the final 8:22 of the second quarter. Also scoring in double figures for the Lady Hoosiers was Ali Patberg who had 12 points and Aleksa Gulbe had 11 points and 9 rebounds.
