(PLAINWELL) – The Sturgis baseball team dropped a pair of Wolverine Conference games to host Plainwell by identical 3-0 scores. In game one, Drew Murphy threw a complete game, striking out 9 and giving up 3 hits. Murphy also had 2 hits. In game two, Isaac Harper went the distance on the hill, striking out 12 and giving up a hit and 5 walks. Sturgis is now 13-14 overall and 9-7 in the Wolverine Conference.
