(CENTREVILLE) – It's been a busy off season for the Glen Oaks women's basketball team. Head Coach Morgan Balcom says they have signed several young ladies to play for the Lady Vikings during the 2019-2010 campaign. One will be familiar with Sturgis fans, as Emma Boland has anounced that she will be returning to St. Joseph County and attend Glen Oaks. Boland graduated from Sturgis High School in 2018 and played soccer at Division 2 Regis University in Colorado. Also signed to play for Glen Oaks are Bella Dangerfield from Fremont; Markeisha Jackson and Ayana Harvey, both from Marion High School in Indiana; Logan Striplin from Battle Creek Pennfield; Shawn'ta Standifer from Romulus; Jazmyn Vine from Parchment and D'laina Harton from Ypsilanti. Balcom says she believes this class will fill the missing spots from last season and help the Lady Vikings take the next step forward in 2019-2020.
