Westview boys win Sectional CC title at West Noble

(LIGONIER) – The Westview boys cross country team captured the Sectional championship at West Noble, finishing first on the day. Host West Noble was second, followed by DeKalb, East Noble and Angola. Those teams all advance to the Regional meet. Lakeland was seventh, Prairie Heights ninth and Central Noble was tenth. Westview's Matthew Yoder was medalist with a time of 15:56. Leading Angola was Josiah Mortoff who was fifth in a time of 17:06. Moving on as individuals to the Regional meet are from Lakeland Lukas Begly and Kent Eagleson; Prairie Heights' Allan Steele and Zane Rowdon along with Fremont's Spencer Castillo and Hayden McLatcher. Central Noble's Jakob Copas is also moving on to the Regional meet.
