Sturgis boys CC team third at Centreville Invitational
(CENTREVILLE) – The Sturgis boys cross country team finished third in the Class A-B junior-senior portion of the Centreville Invitational. Three Rivers was sixth on the day. Kenny Barrera Garcia of Sturgis was 11th overall on the day. Teammate Noah Franks was 14th. For Three Rivers, Cole Appoloni was seventh while Nathan Ritchie was 26th. Coldwater's Kyle Foulk was fourth. In the fremshman-sophomore boys race, Three Rivers was second and Sturgis third. Tremaine Brown led Sturgis with a third place finish while Kenny Munoz was 16th. Jaciel Castro of Three Rivers was fifth and Body Fletcher was sixth.

(CENTREVILLE) – In the girls Class A-B junior-senior portion of the Centreville CC Invitational, Coldwater came in second place while Sturgis was third, Lakeland seventh and Three Rivers was eighth. Sturgis' Meg Scheske was second overall while Lena Kues was sixth. Elka Machan of Coldwater finished first while teammate Kathy Potter was third. April Christman of Lakeland was fifth and Claudia Munoz was 36th. Three Rivers was led by Jessica Barnes while was 33rd and Gracie Bowers was 35th. In the freshman-sophomore race, Three Rivers was second, Lakeland fifth and Sturgis was eighth. Korin Whitcomb was 23rd for Sturgis while Brenda Aquino was 30th. Emma Stasiuk of Three Rivers was fourth and Natalie Kelley was eighth. Ella Lewin of Lakeland was 15th.
