Threat Made At Prairie Heights HS

(BRUSHY PRAIRIE) – A Prairie Heights High School student was suspended after making a threat.

Prairie Heights Superintendent Jeff Reed issued a written statement to parents and provided a copy to us.

In the statement, Reed said that a student made a verbal threat at the high school. The threat was investigated by administration and law enforcement. That student is suspended and is no longer at the school.

Reed went on to say that the District appreciates the students that brought this matter to their attention and encourages students to report anything that would cause harm to another as everyone strives to maintain a safe environment at Prairie Heights.
