(MENDON) – Several area cross country teams were in action at the Mendon Invitational. In the boys race, Union City was first, Centreville seventh and host Mendon was eighth. Individually, Ben Gautsche of Union City was first, Ben Iobe of Mendon came in fourth while Brenden Sre of Centreville was 31st and Chandler Lafler of Colon was 46th. In the girls race, Union City was third and Centreville fifth. Alli Gautsche of Union City was fifth overall, Presley Allen of Mendon was sixth, Ellie Reed of Centreville was 16th.
