Colon falls in season opener 53-0 to Gobles
(COLON) – The Colon football team fell in their home and season opener 53-0 to Gobles in the debut of Magi new head coach Derrick Sanders. Gobles outgained the host Magi 358-90 in total yards. Garry Lord had 12 carries for 43 yards to lead Colon on the night. Jeremiah West was 5 of 13 through the air for 47 yards with an interception, and Owen Wilson had 4 receptions for 39 yards. Wyatt Downs led the defense with 7 tackles. Jonny Greenwald, Wilson and Jabari Falls each had 5 tackles.
