The Sturgis Historical Society, The Sturgis Area Community Foundation, The City of Sturgis and the Newell A. and Grace A. Franks Fund present the premier showing of Mike Mort's latest film, VOICES OF DARK LAKE, Friday, November 22nd, 7 p.m. at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. Rumor has it that in the mid-1800s a group of freedom seekers took refuge at a small secluded lake. They were hiding from southern land owners, and bounty hunters, and even everyday citizens compelled by the Fugitive Slave Act to turn them in. Constantly looking over their shoulders they were always seeking a safe place to rest. Tickets are $10.00 each and available now at the Sturgis Historical Museum, Chamber of Commerce, York Mechantile, Willers Shoes and The Sturges-Young Center for the Arts box office. Don't miss VOICES OF DARK LAKE .....
