(UNDATED) – A LaGrange man was involved in a weekend crash.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department says at 9:50 Saturday morning, they responded to a two vehicle crash in the 2000 block of State Route 8. 38 year old Brandy Williams of Butler told deputies she was heading west and saw a bunch of smoke in front her, but did not see a pick up and rear ended it.
19 year old Samuel Beechy of LaGrange was driving west and his truck started to have mechanical problems. He said his truck wouldn't go out
of third gear and he saw black smoke coming out of his exhaust.
He started to slow down and was hit from behind by Williams.
Beechy was not hurt. Williams complained of chest pain and was transported to DeKalb Health. The crash is still being investigated.
