(COLDWATER) – A Coldwater man is facing several charges related to an incident from earlier this year.
Coldwater Acting Director of Public Safety Joe Schied says 18 year old Yousef Ali-Mohamed-Mud Ahmed turned himself into authorities Wednesday morning, regarding an alleged incident that happened February 8. An 18 year old woman told police that the suspect got into her car at a fast food restaurant, and then forced her to drive to an undisclosed location where he assaulted her.
Ahmed was arraigned in Branch County District Court on charges of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct, unlawful imprisonment and aggravated indecent exposure. He is being held in the Branch County Jail with bond set at $20,000.
A preliminary examination is set for July 30.
