(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Supreme Court will not hear an appeal by 43 year old Trevor Wertz of Albion in the murder of a 2 year old girl.
The State's High Court refused to transfer the case, which means the murder conviction stands. The State appeals court also denied Wertz's appeal in April.
Wertz plead guilty to murder in the death of Railee Ewing and was sentenced to 65 years in prison.
