(STURGIS) – Area musicians and artists will be on display Saturday.
The 9th annual Homegrown Art and Music Festival will be happening
at Sturgis' Oaklawn Park. Event co-organizer Eric Wynes says he never thought this event would get as large as it has become when he and Scott Swihart they came up with the idea nine years ago. LINKC.
From the beginning, the idea of the Homegrown Festival was to showcase the community, through music and art. Scott Swihart says he is impressed by how many local artists are now involved and attending the Festival. LINKD.
The Festival starts at 12 PM. Performers include Zenith; SubPar; the Radiant Life Worship Team; the Nothing But The Blues Band featuring Sturgis native Mick Kolassa; the Countyline Band and Phins Up.
