(CONSTANTINE) – A Constantine man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison.
Michigan State Police say 60 year old Paul Halcomb was sentenced August 12 on charges of distribution of child pornography. His case was prosecuted federally by the United States Attorney's Office, Western District of Michigan. He plead guilty to the charges on April 15.
State Police started their investigation after they received evidence of a person that was downloading and distributing videos and images of child sexually abusive material. The investigation into the suspect's identity led members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to Halcomb's residence and found proof he was downloading and distributing the material.
