(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) – A pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a vehicle.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department was called to Beebe and Leet Roads in Howard Township at 9:20 Sunday night. Deputies say 37 year old Gregory Montgomery of Niles was driving his pick up south on Leet Road when he struck 30 year old Mel Wynn, who was walking north.
Wynn sustained injuries and was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital. His condition has not been released.
Assisting deputies were the Edwardsburg Police Department, the Howard Township Fire Department and SMCAS Ambulance.
