(THREE RIVERS) – Residents of the Three Rivers School District are invited to attend a public forum Wednesday evening.
The purpose of the forum is to hear and ask questions about the District’s bond proposal, which will be on the November 5 ballot.
Three Rivers Superintendent Ron Moag will lead the presentation and discussion about the bond, which would continue a 4.9 mill tax rate that is currently in use to pay down bonds that were issued on Three Rivers High School.
If approved, the money generated from the bond would be approximately $61 million. The money would be used to make improvements to several schools in the district along with transportation and athletic facilities.
The public forum will run from 6 until 8 PM at the Three Rivers Schools Administrative Office, 851 Sixth Avenue.
