(MASON TOWNSHIP) – An Elkhart woman was injured in a hit and run crash in Cass County's Mason Township.
Sheriff's Deputies say at 6:25 PM Sunday, 32 year old Alexandra Pressler of Elkhart was driving in the 70,000 block of Five Points Road. As Pressler tried to make a left turn into a residence, a vehicle passed her and crashed into the driver's side of the vehicle, and then fled the scene.
Pressler was taken by SESPA Ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
The suspect vehicle is described as a smaller red SUV and should have front end damage from the incident. Assisting at the scene were the Ontwa Township Police Department and the SESPA Fire Department.
