(QUINCY) – An investigation has led to a Quincy man being arrested on multiple sex related crimes.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force say 27 year old Peter Casey is facing six charges including first and second degree criminal sexual conduct; aggravated sexual abuse of a child; using a computer to commit a crime, possession of sexually abusive material involving a child and using the internet to communicate a crime with another.
It's alleged that the victim is under the age of 13.
MSP says Casey was arrested after they did a follow up on a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tip regarding activity on Facebook and the alleged creation and sharing of child sexually abusive material between Casey and his girlfriend, Shannon Moore of Kalamazoo.
MSP and Mlive both say Casey was arrested in Kalamazoo County and is being held their until he can be arraigned.
Moore was arrested in May on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct, child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime. She is accused of sexually abusing a child, recording it and then sharing it.
