(STURGIS) – If you are looking for something to do today, you may want to head to Camp Fort Hill.
The Camp is hosting their “In The Fall” event from 1 until 5 PM. Visitors will get a chance to see some of the upgrades and improvements done to the camp, according to Camp Director Dave Ludders. That includes a complete upgrade to the kitchen with a new ceiling, flooring lights and electrical wiring. And the bathrooms have had work with new ceilings, lights and new toilets.
The trails will be open for people to walk and see the plants and wildlife. Sarah Vanderlugt says she has been exploring the camp's walking trails to get them ready for today. She says they have been painted and new signs will be up soon.
There will be hayrides, kids games, golf cart tours of the camp, cider and donuts and desserts cooked in a 100 year old stove. Live music will be provided by the band Honey Creek.
Camp Fort Hill is located at 21710 North Everson Drive.
