(UNDATED) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating thefts in two different parts of the county.
Sheriff Brad Balk says several larceny from vehicle complaints have been reported in the Purgatory State Game area northwest of Constantine since October 1. Witnesses report a heavier set white man around six feet tall with a beard and weighing around 250 pounds. The man was possibly driving a silver four door older model car.
Balk also says his department is investigating a breaking and entering to a residence that happened November 1 in the 68,000 block of Blanchard Street in White Pigeon Township.
If anyone has information on either of these incidents, they are asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 269-467-9045.
