Colon captures District volleyball title
(COLON) – Host Colon won a Division 4 District volleyball title, beating Athens 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 16-25, 28-26). Brenna Fisher had 4 aces, 16 assists and 11 digs for the Lady Magi. MaryJane Muntian had 4 kills, 8 digs and 2 assists while Katie Gentz had 7 kills, 20 digs and 2 blocks. Katelyne Leitch had 5 kills, and 17 digs. Colon will play at the Adrian Lenawee Christian Regional, and will face either Camden-Frontier or Hillsdale Academy who will play tonight in their District Championship match.
