(COLDWATER) – Charges have been filed in Branch County against a former Athens teacher who was convicted of having sex with student.
Branch County District Court officials say 31 year old Tyler Millward is charged with four counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct that allegedly happened in Sherwood Township. He was arraigned via video.
Millward is already serving a sentence at the Lakeland Correctional Facility on four charges out of Calhoun County. The charges were third degree criminal sexual conduct, bribing or intimidating a witness, lying to a police officer and using a computer to commit a crime.
Millward was accused in Calhoun County of having an affair in June 2017 with a then 16 year old student. The affair lasted for several months.
A preliminary examination is scheduled for November 27.
