(MASON TOWNSHIP) – An Edwardsburg man was injured in a one vehicle crash.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 44 year old Jonathan Wagers was driving east on Mason Street near Gordon Road in Mason Township at 6:44 Thursday morning. For an unknown reason, Wagers went off the road, striking a mailbox and then a tree.
Wagers was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was wearing his seat belt and the case remains under investigation.
Assisting deputies were the SEPSA Fire and Ambulance Company and the Edwardsburg Police Department.
