(BRONSON) – Interviews will start Wednesday in the search for the next Bronson Schools Superintendent.
The Bronson School Board will interview four candidates Wednesday. They are Michael Fitzpatrick, who is the the former Vice President of Instruction at Pratt Community College in Kansas; Suzanne Kavanaugh, the K-12 Principal of the Pontiac School District; Harmonee McCrea, Principal at Wall School in Sturgis and Kevin Kelly, Superintendent and Principal at The Greenspire School in Traverse City.
Fitzpatrick's interview will start at 5 PM; Kavanaugh's at 6 PM, McCrea's at 7 PM and Kelly's at 8 PM.
Then on Thursday, interviews will be held with Jessica Bucklin, the School Improvements, Curriculum and Behavior Consultant with the Jackson County ISD; Steve Wilson, the Superintendent of Constantine Public Schools and Kathleen Ramirez, the K-7 Principal at Holland Public Schools.
Bucklin's interview will start at 5 PM Thursday; Wilson's at 6 PM; and Ramirez at 7 PM.
The Michigan Association Of School Boards is helping Bronson Schools in the search. They hope that following Thursday's interviews, a smaller number of candidates will be asked back for second round interviews.
Bruce Caswell has been filling in as the Interim Superintendent for Bronson, since Rick Hilderley stepped down to become the Superintendent of the Tecumseh School District.
The public is welcome to attend both nights of interviews.
