(STURGIS) – Sturgis Police are investigating a pick up that was stolen at gun point.
Sergeant Damon Knapp says at 5 AM Wednesday, a resident in the 200 block of North Prospect Street left his truck running in his driveway while he went back inside his house. An unknown subject, dressed in black, got into the truck. When the vehicle owner opened the door to the vehicle, the suspect pointed a hand gun at the owner. He then drove away.
The pick up is a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, four door, white in color, with a dent on the passenger side door. It has a Michigan registration plate number of CKR2762.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If you see the pick up or the subject, do not approach them, instead call the police.
