(STURGIS) – Multiple charges have been filed against a 46 year old Colon man.

At 4:18 Friday morning, Sturgis Police were called to the 400 block of West South Street for a man who was threatening people with a knife. Officers arrived at the location and were told the suspect fled the area and entered the nearby Wal Mart Store.

Police located the subject and took him into custody on charges of retail fraud, felonious assault, resisting and obstructing and for having an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the St. Joseph County Jail.
