(CENTREVILLE) – The Glen Oaks men's basketball team picked up an MCCAA West Division win over visiting Kellogg CC 100-90. After a back and fourth start to the game, the Vikings' defense turned up the pressure and took a 42-29 lead into the half time break. Glen Oaks would extend their lead to 22 points with just under 3 minutes left in the second half before Kellogg would hit some three point buckets, but couldn't come all the way back. Leading Glen Oaks on the day was JoMel Boyd with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Whitney Harris added 19 points and 8 rebounds while LeAngelo Saravia had 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Davon Bradley had 14 points and 6 assists. Glen Oaks is now 10-4 overall and 2-1 in the MCCAA West Division.
