(POKAGON TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a one vehicle crash over the weekend.

Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke says at 6:45 AM Sunday, 49 year old Samantha Robertson of Niles was driving west on Pokagon Highway in Pokagon Township. Robertson's vehicle lost control and left the road, striking the railroad tracks near the intersection of Baron Lake Road.

Robertson received minor injuries and was taken to Lakeland Niles Hospital for treatment. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Assisting deputies were the Howard Township Fire Department and the SMACAS Ambulance Service.
